Role Overview

This position is for an experienced Veterinary Doctor who can handle a broad mix of cases. The role calls for advanced clinical judgement, confident surgical ability, and the capability to manage small animals as well as exotic species.

Key Duties

• Assess animal health issues, identify conditions, and provide appropriate treatment.
• Carry out surgical procedures and monitor patients throughout the full surgical process.
• Respond to emergency cases and manage critical care situations.
• Prepare treatment plans and keep medical documentation accurate and up to date.
• Explain diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care clearly to pet owners.
• Guide, coordinate, and support veterinary nurses and technicians.
• Uphold strong standards of cleanliness, safety, and clinical quality across the workplace.

Requirements

The ideal applicant should bring at least 5 years of advanced veterinary experience. A Qatar veterinary license is preferred, though candidates who are eligible to obtain one may also be considered. Strong capability in diagnostics, surgery, and critical care is essential, along with sound knowledge of orthopedics, skin conditions, and animal diet. Experience treating small animals and exotic species is also important. The role requires excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to stay effective in a busy and changing environment.
