Territory Service Representative (Bikers)

Role overview

This position is for a Territory Service Representative working on bike-based delivery and pickup operations in Chennai. The role covers end-to-end handling of shipments from sorting and scanning to delivery, pickup, and handover of cash and undelivered items.

Delivery duties

• Remove bags from the vehicle and process incoming shipments.
• Scan parcels, carry out primary and secondary sorting, and outscan shipments according to the delivery route.
• Deliver packages only to the address mentioned on the shipment.
• Collect customer acknowledgement on the BYOD device during delivery.
• Enter the correct status code when a shipment cannot be delivered.
• Follow the delivery workflow as explained during training.
• Hand over COD collections to the supervisor on the same day.
• Return all undelivered shipments to the supervisor.
• Maintain the required dress code and carry field bags at all delivery points.

Pickup duties

• Complete pickups according to SOP guidelines.
• Reach customer locations within the specified cutoff time.
• Verify that the location is serviceable before pickup.
• Count the shipments at the customer site and obtain acknowledgement on the pickup sheet.
• Inscan shipments at the office and manage Rapid entry.
• Sort shipments again after pickup, complete bagging, and load canvas bags into the vehicle.
• Reach the next location on time to ensure smooth connection.

Additional information

The delivery process will be explained during training. This is a field-based role that requires discipline in shipment handling, accurate updates, and timely coordination with the supervisor.
