Talent Acquisition Manager

About the role

Tiny Spoon Chef is a fast-growing culinary brand with operations in 15 states, and this position plays a key part in supporting that expansion. The company is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager who approaches hiring as a long-term match rather than a simple headcount fill, with an emphasis on people who will stay, perform well, and develop with the business.

This is a fully remote opportunity with meaningful independence. You will lead full-cycle recruitment across multiple markets and work closely with the marketing team to design sourcing plans that extend beyond standard job boards, including local community outreach in the regions where the company operates.

Key responsibilities

• Run end-to-end recruiting efforts across 15 states, keeping the focus on sustainable growth and quality hires.
• Design sourcing approaches that reach candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, job fairs, digital signage, and market-specific community outreach.
• Maintain the ATS by creating, updating, and tracking candidate activity while improving hiring pipelines to shorten time-to-hire.
• Partner with the marketing team on employer branding campaigns and recruiting materials tailored to specific regions.
• Oversee the recruiting budget and distribute spend strategically by market.
• Prioritize retention and long-term fit, with commission tied to retention milestones rather than only speed of hire.
• Monitor hiring metrics such as time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, and 90-day and 180-day retention.
• Travel as needed to regional markets, up to 30% of the role, for job fairs and on-site recruiting activities.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in a multi-state or distributed setting.
• Strong command of digital sourcing methods, along with the willingness to engage in in-person outreach when a local market requires it.
• Comfort working collaboratively with marketing and operations teams.
• Experience managing a recruiting budget.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to represent the company effectively across different communities and markets.
• Hands-on experience with ATS platforms such as Paylocity and Workable.
• Prior use of project management tools such as Asana or Monday.
• Ability to coordinate hiring steps with cross-functional teams.
• Applicants selected for hire must clear a background check.
• The company uses E-Verify to confirm Form I-9 details and verify identity and work eligibility.
