Store Inspector

Role Overview

This position is based in Singapore at the Calshot Road site and is intended for on-site work. The role sits within Pratt & Whitney, a global leader in aircraft engines and auxiliary power systems, operating under RTX, a major aerospace and defense organization focused on solving complex industry challenges and advancing aviation technology.

Key Duties

• Check all incoming shipments to confirm they are correct, in good condition, and accompanied by the required airworthiness certificates and purchase or repair orders.
• Record, report, and escalate any shortages, damage, or quality concerns by creating a Discrepancy Report.
• Verify that all supporting paperwork is complete and aligned with statutory rules, customer requirements, and internal procedures.
• Complete required transactions in SAP.
• Keep records updated for audit readiness, traceability, and reporting.
• Track expiry dates for engine spare parts and related stock.
• Follow SOPs as well as aviation safety and quality requirements.
• Assist with internal and external audit activities.
• Keep the work area tidy, organized, and safe.
• Handle additional tasks assigned by management.
• Be prepared to work rotating shifts.
• Be willing to support overtime on weekends and afternoon shifts.

Required Qualifications

A diploma or similar qualification in Aviation, Logistics, Supply Chain, or another related discipline is required. The role also calls for solid familiarity with MS applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook, along with working knowledge of SAP or comparable warehouse management systems.

Preferred Profile

Previous exposure to aviation warehousing or quality inspection will be an advantage. The ideal candidate should also bring strong attention to detail, high accuracy, sound problem-solving ability, and the capacity to communicate well and work effectively with others.
