About Chompshop

Chompshop creates hands-on tools for the next wave of builders, inventors, and problem-solvers. Its flagship product, ChompSaw, is a kid-safe cutting tool for cardboard that helps young makers turn ideas into real projects using their own hands. The company was started four years ago by Kausi and Max, graduates of the Integrated Product Design Master’s program at UPenn.

Since launch, the brand has grown from a Kickstarter campaign to a Shark Tank appearance, earned the “Creative Toy of the Year” award, and shipped more than 100,000 ChompSaws to maker spaces, schools, museums, and homes worldwide.

The team is small, fast-moving, and driven by curiosity, resilience, creativity, and design-led thinking. They value experimentation, learning from mistakes, and building a community around making.

Role Overview

Chompshop is hiring a full-time Social Content Manager to own its brand presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Facebook. The role also includes growing influencer partnerships and managing the affiliate program.

This position is divided into three main areas: about half of the time on content creation for owned and organic social channels, one quarter on sourcing and managing creator collaborations, and one quarter on user-generated content and affiliate program growth, including creator recruitment, payout management, and creative brief development.

The ideal candidate enjoys understanding what makes social content perform, can build communities, knows how to approach brands and creators authentically, and wants to help grow a passionate maker community around a product they believe in.

What You Will Do

Content Creation

  • Produce high-performing short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, and Facebook.
  • Record hands-on builds, product demonstrations, UGC-style videos, and trend-led social content, including projects involving kids, with outreach to schools, parent groups, and maker spaces for in-person filming opportunities.
  • Edit video content with attention to pacing, narrative flow, captions, hooks, and platform-specific formatting.
  • Plan and manage the social content calendar as well as campaign timelines.
  • Develop fresh ideas, recurring content formats, and seasonal campaign concepts.
  • Track trends, audio, memes, and platform updates to keep content relevant.
  • Support launches, campaigns, and seasonal promotions with original social assets.

Influencer and Creator Management

  • Identify, pitch, and onboard creators for product launches and seasonal campaigns.
  • Handle negotiation, contract coordination, and performance tracking for creator partnerships.
  • Manage gifting, early access, and collaboration briefs for influencers.
  • Collect and repurpose the strongest creator-made content across brand channels.
  • Measure campaign results, including ROI and audience reach, and share performance insights.

UGC and Affiliate Program Growth

  • Expand the affiliate program by recruiting customers and community members to create content.
  • Source, edit, and refine UGC-style videos for paid campaigns across Meta, Google, and TikTok.
  • Track affiliate KPIs and improve program economics over time.
  • Build affiliate-facing materials, policies, and onboarding resources.

Who You Are

  • You have prior experience managing social accounts, producing content, and working with creators.
  • You know what tends to perform well on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other short-form platforms.
  • You have collaborated with influencers, creators, or affiliate partners, even at a small scale.
  • You are highly creative, structured, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • You are comfortable filming content that features hands-on activities and family-oriented settings.
  • You can carry an idea from early concept through to final edit.
  • You are excited by startups, maker culture, education, and creative, hands-on learning.
  • You already know creators or have strong instincts for finding them in education, DIY, and maker communities.

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar editing tools.
  • Additional skills in photography, motion graphics, or animation.
  • Previous work in creator outreach, influencer partnerships, or affiliate program operations.
  • Experience producing paid social creative or UGC-based ads.
  • An existing network of creators in education, parenting, or maker spaces.
  • Experience using Shopify, especially UpPromote.

Position Details

This is a remote, full-time role with a 40-hour work week. Compensation is listed at $90,000 to $120,000 per year. The expected start date is July 2026.

Application Instructions

Applicants should send a resume, cover letter, and portfolio to the company’s careers email address.
