The organisation is hiring Social Care Assistants for its County Kilkenny service. This is a permanent position with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Salary for the role is €34,884 to €43,193 per year.

What you will do

You will work as part of a dedicated team supporting individuals in their daily lives and helping ensure their ongoing needs are met in line with their support plans and agreed methods of care.

Candidates should have a sound understanding of current national and sectoral policy and developments relating to social care in disability services, along with the ability to work to plans and methods designed around individual needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are important, as are practical IT skills including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.

A full driving licence and access to your own car are essential.

Checks and compliance

All appointments are subject to Garda Vetting, relevant police clearance for any country where the applicant has lived for more than six months since the age of 18, and reference verification.
