Role overview
This opportunity is for a site administrator / site coordinator to support a major oil and gas construction project in Dresden, Saxony, Germany. The position is with a client operating across Germany and Europe on national and international projects, and the assignment is planned to run for at least 24 months.
The role is focused on EPC/CAPEX delivery and is especially suitable for someone with prior site-based administration experience on construction projects. Experience from renewable energy, power distribution, or power generation environments is particularly valued. Backgrounds from client-side organizations, consultancies, or EPC contractors are all considered relevant, and previous work on construction sites is acceptable as long as the language requirements are met.
Work location and setup
This is a site-based position in Dresden, Germany, with day-to-day work performed onsite. The role requires a hands-on approach and close coordination with both management and site teams.
Key duties
The successful candidate will support the project management team with all onsite administrative and coordination needs. Responsibilities include site inductions, handling logistics for management, receiving goods and deliveries, maintaining documentation, and acting as a link between management and site personnel.
Experience and capability requirements
Applicants should have around 1 to 5+ years of experience, ideally gained on construction sites in Europe. Prior exposure to site documentation, planning, logistics, and project support work will be a strong advantage. Strong use of office software such as Outlook and Excel is expected, along with professional fluency in English and full fluency in German.
Contract and engagement details
The assignment is scheduled to start in July 2026. Compensation is offered at good market rates, payable either by the hour, by the day, or as a monthly salary depending on the engagement structure. The payroll arrangement can be freelance/umbrella in-country or permanent employment. The contract duration is 24 months.
Additional notes
The client prefers candidates who understand the European working environment and culture, although the key requirement is strong German language ability. The role is intended for someone who is comfortable working directly onsite and remaining on the project for the full contract period.
