Role overview
HSBC is hiring a Senior Associate, Distribution Training in Singapore. The role is part of a team focused on capability building for the sales force, with an emphasis on training design support, delivery support, compliance-related learning, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
What you will do
- Assist senior trainers in creating, developing, and running learning solutions for the sales team.
- Deliver and reinforce foundational training on the sales advisory journey and systems, regulatory expectations such as Fair Dealing Guidelines and Culture & Conduct, sales techniques, and technical subject matter including underwriting and claims.
- Help coordinate recruitment and onboarding for new representatives by partnering with external vendors to arrange the required CMFAS tutorials so candidates can complete their industry examinations.
- Contribute to channel engagement efforts that support change adoption, including new processes and updated company or industry guidelines.
- Track, review, and report on learning outcomes after training has been delivered.
- Handle payment processing for services provided by external training vendors.
- Work with the Competency Standards team to make sure mandatory training is delivered, monitored, and properly recorded in line with standard operating procedures.
What HSBC is looking for
- Hands-on sales experience in the financial planning sector, supported by relevant certifications such as M5, M9, M9A, HI, M8, and M8A.
- Prior experience delivering training programmes aimed at distribution teams.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain information effectively.
- Strong people skills and the ability to develop cooperative working relationships with stakeholders.
