Role overview
The Senior Account Manager will oversee a portfolio of accounts, strengthen the company’s market presence, and drive growth through structured account strategies and strong relationships with both current and prospective customers. The role focuses on increasing sales performance while also supporting marketing initiatives and partner engagement.
Core responsibilities
- Design account plans and execution roadmaps for the assigned portfolio, working in close coordination with the leadership team.
- Build reliable sales forecasts and set targets that align with wider business goals.
- Manage relationships with vendors in line with company strategy and leadership direction.
- Grow and maintain relationships with new and existing clients and channels to increase sales and unlock new business opportunities.
- Develop a strong customer and channel database, study the data, and use it to track loyalty and identify fresh opportunities.
- Identify both current and future product needs through market research and regular engagement with existing and potential customers.
- Handle the sales process end to end, from quotation through to collection.
- Review credit and payment performance, outstanding balances, and related audit outcomes.
- Ensure inventory is properly stored, monitored, and controlled through a dependable stock management process.
- Drive sales across the full account portfolio with a focus on long-term revenue and profitability.
- Provide strong support to channel partners and respond promptly to queries and concerns so customer needs are met effectively.
- Monitor the rollout of focused programs and marketing campaigns, assess progress, and recommend improvements where needed.
- Review business workflows, spot opportunities to improve, and implement measures that increase efficiency and consistency.
- Use available systems, including Salesforce CRM, to manage leads, opportunities, and deal registration efficiently and consistently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or a closely related discipline.
- 10 to 12 years of relevant professional experience.
- Background in managed services is required.
- Strong personal presence with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Established customer network in the UAE, especially across enterprise accounts in multiple industries.
Additional information
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role is centered on account growth, partner management, sales forecasting, inventory oversight, and the use of CRM tools for standardized sales operations.
Education
