Job Summary
We are looking for a diligent and alert Security Officer to ensure a safe and secure atmosphere for patrons, employees, and company property within a retail setting. The role involves observing store activities, deterring theft, managing incidents, and upholding safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly patrol and monitor retail spaces to prevent theft, damage, and unauthorized actions.
- Observe individuals to identify suspicious conduct or potential shoplifting.
- Perform bag inspections and manage access points as needed.
- Swiftly address security breaches, emergencies, alarms, or disruptions.
- Generate comprehensive reports on incidents and daily activities.
- Aid in managing crowds during busy periods, special offers, or events.
- Verify that fire safety equipment and emergency exits are unobstructed.
- Collaborate with store leadership and law enforcement when required.
- Deliver high-quality customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.
- Uphold company regulations and safety standards.
