About the Role
This position is for a retail sales assistant based in Hobart, Tasmania, supporting the store leadership team in delivering strong sales results, smooth day-to-day operations, and an excellent customer experience. The role sits within a global footwear brand known for comfort-focused, trend-aware products.
What You’ll Do
You will contribute to the overall success of the store by working closely with management and the wider team. The role involves creating memorable shopping experiences, helping drive revenue, and maintaining high operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Support the management team in achieving sales goals and operational standards.
- Deliver outstanding service that leaves customers with a positive and memorable experience.
- Help maintain a lively, efficient, and customer-focused retail environment.
- Work collaboratively with teammates in a fast-paced store setting.
- Contribute to meeting and exceeding individual and store sales targets.
- Accept feedback and use it constructively to improve performance.
Requirements
- Strong commitment to excellent customer service.
- Genuine enthusiasm for footwear and sneaker culture.
- Ability to perform well in a busy, high-energy team environment.
- Self-driven attitude with a willingness to hit and surpass sales targets.
- Comfort with late-night trading, weekends, and availability on Monday to Wednesday days.
- Prior customer service experience.
