Role overview
Gulf Contractors Company LLC is hiring an experienced QA/QC Manager to support roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. This position is intended for professionals who can step in immediately and who already live in the UAE. Candidates must bring strong hands-on exposure to quality management within civil infrastructure works.

Position summary
The QA/QC Manager will be responsible for setting up, applying, and tracking the project quality management framework so that construction work aligns with approved standards, specifications, and local regulatory obligations. The role requires close coordination with consultants, clients, and authorities, along with active control of inspections, audits, NCR resolution, and project close-out deliverables.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain the Project Quality Management System, including the PQP, method statements, and inspection and test plans, in line with contract and authority requirements.
- Guide QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors while monitoring site execution against approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Evaluate material submittals and ensure compliance with ASTM, BS, and ADQCC requirements.
- Plan, witness, and document laboratory and site testing activities appropriately.
- Manage the NCR workflow, including corrective actions, preventive actions, follow-up, and closure.
- Serve as the primary contact for WIRs, inspections, audits, and approvals with consultants, clients, and authorities.
- Oversee internal and external quality audits and ensure adherence to Abu Dhabi regulatory requirements.
- Keep complete and accurate quality records for handover and as-built documentation.
- Ensure all QA/QC close-out tasks are finished in accordance with contractual and authority expectations.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of QA/QC experience in roads, infrastructure, and bridge projects.
- Only applicants currently residing in the UAE will be considered.
- Immediate joining is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related field.
- Working familiarity with local authority requirements such as DMT, ADM, and TAQA WS.
- Experience with approved specifications, ITPs, client requirements, and ADQCC compliance.
- ISO 9001:2015 certification is an advantage.
