This position calls for strong subject-matter knowledge of the Arabic language ecosystem and the ability to discover, connect with, and coordinate leading voices from across the region, including academics, writers, poets, researchers, creators, media figures, and cultural thinkers.

What you will do

  • Design an engaging schedule of talks, panels, discussions, lectures, interviews, and public dialogue sessions.
  • Investigate new developments, themes, and topics related to Arabic language, culture, literature, and identity.
  • Source, approach, and manage speakers, moderators, scholars, authors, poets, creators, and cultural specialists.
  • Develop partnerships with universities, cultural organisations, publishers, research institutions, and sector experts.
  • Create session ideas, speaker notes, conversation structures, and the overall programme storyline.
  • Handle speaker coordination, content inputs, briefing materials, and on-site execution.
  • Make sure all programme elements support project goals and meet audience expectations.
  • Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to present and promote programme content effectively.

What we are looking for

  • At least 7 years of experience in curating conferences, cultural programmes, literary festivals, public forums, or other knowledge-led events.
  • Strong command of Arabic language, literature, culture, media, and modern intellectual discussion.
  • A well-established network of speakers, academics, authors, poets, creators, and cultural professionals across the region.
  • Excellent research, writing, and content development abilities.
  • Native-level Arabic proficiency and fluency in English.
  • Must be based in Abu Dhabi or able to work on-site in Abu Dhabi.
