Role overview

This position supports the PMO in strengthening project management practices, tools, templates, and methods so that projects are delivered against agreed scope, timelines, and budgets. The role also contributes to tracking project benefits that align with Circana’s strategy and help drive continuous improvement across the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee product development and client implementation projects assigned by the PMO from initiation through to closure.
  • Promote and apply PMO centre-of-excellence principles in day-to-day delivery.
  • Follow the organisation’s project management standards and discipline.
  • Improve and maintain PMO templates to create a consistent client implementation experience.
  • Ensure PMO reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time.
  • Work with clients, project teams, stakeholders, and sponsors to deliver the intended business outcomes.
  • Support project start-up and initiation by helping refine the business case, deliverables, work breakdown structure, scope, early estimates, schedules, and budgets, and by presenting recommendations to executive and senior stakeholders.
  • Develop strong internal relationships through clear communication that supports successful project delivery.
  • Handle project governance tasks, including leading steering group meetings, governance forums, and vendor discussions, while maintaining action and decision records.
  • Identify and manage issues and risks early to reduce any impact on deliverables.
  • Run post-implementation reviews and capture lessons learned for future projects.
  • Contribute to project management knowledge-sharing sessions and forums.

Experience and requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Hands-on experience delivering SaaS products with client-specific customisations.
  • Strong working knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall delivery methods.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving and changing project environment.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience leading teams across a portfolio of 3 to 5 concurrent projects.
  • Exposure to Big Data or Data Analytics solutions will be an advantage.
