Role overview
In this position, you will be responsible for shaping the strategy, roadmap, and full lifecycle of Eaton’s White Space portfolio across EMEA. You will spot market opportunities, translate them into product needs, and work closely with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams across EMEA and North America to support profitable growth and innovation in a highly strategic segment.
Product portfolio
The White Space portfolio covers IT racks and accessories, rack PDUs, rack power solutions including DC architectures, aisle containment systems, POD solutions, superstructure solutions, and data center monitoring and management software. These offerings support Eaton’s Grid-to-Chip approach for modern cloud, colocation, and AI-enabled data centers.
Key responsibilities
- Create and drive the product strategy and roadmap.
- Oversee products through every stage of the lifecycle, from launch to end-of-life.
- Own product profitability and contribute to pricing decisions.
- Collect customer feedback and track shifts in the market.
- Spot new growth areas and ways to stand out from competitors.
- Define specifications for new product development programs.
- Work with engineering partners to bring innovative solutions to market.
- Assist with go-to-market planning and product launches.
- Coordinate with global stakeholders to keep roadmaps aligned.
- Act as a product expert for key clients and major business opportunities.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a closely related discipline.
- Background in Product Management, Product Marketing, or Business Development.
- Prior exposure to the data center sector.
- Working knowledge of data center infrastructure technologies.
- Experience with white space solutions such as racks, rack PDUs, containment, PODs, modular infrastructure, or similar technologies is strongly preferred.
- Sound commercial and financial judgment.
- Strong capability in stakeholder coordination and communication.
- Comfort working within a global matrix organization.
- Fluency in English.
