Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position in Sharjah calls for a Plastic Surgeon who can manage a broad spectrum of cosmetic and reconstructive cases. The role covers patient consultations, treatment planning, surgical procedures, and follow-up care after treatment. It also requires active coordination with nurses and other support staff, careful documentation, patient education, and ongoing attention to safety, infection prevention, and quality standards.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate patients and determine appropriate cosmetic or reconstructive treatment pathways.
• Conduct consultations, outline procedure options, and clearly explain associated benefits and risks.
• Plan and carry out operative interventions in line with clinical best practices.
• Provide post-operative monitoring and follow-up to support recovery and outcomes.
• Record clinical observations and treatment details accurately in medical records.
• Work closely with nursing and other clinical staff to coordinate patient care.
• Follow strict safety measures and infection-control protocols at all times.
• Stay updated on advancements in plastic, cosmetic, and reconstructive surgery.
• Take part in quality-improvement efforts and contribute to high standards of care.
• Support a positive patient experience through empathy, professionalism, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Strong surgical background, including hands-on capability in surgery and microsurgery.
• Advanced expertise in plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery.
• Solid medical training, along with the required licensing and registration for practice.
• Board certification or equivalent postgraduate specialization in plastic surgery, or currently working toward it where applicable.
• Proven exposure to both aesthetic and reconstructive procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, especially for treatment discussions and informed consent.
• Clear commitment to ethical, evidence-based care and compliance with local regulations.
• Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary setting and perform well in a busy clinical environment.
• Comfort with detailed documentation and clinical information systems.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or another additional language is a plus.

This role is based in Sharjah, Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The position is full-time and requires on-site attendance.
