About Mejuri
Mejuri has been reshaping fine jewelry since 2015 by positioning it as a personal expression rather than something reserved for milestones. Founded by third-generation jeweller Noura Sakkijha, the company was built on the belief that fine jewelry should feel natural, guilt-free, and part of everyday life. Mejuri serves customers online, through its app, and across a growing international retail network of 58+ stores. The brand also emphasizes responsible sourcing, sustainable practices, and philanthropic efforts that align with its long-term values.
Role overview
Mejuri is looking for a Manager, Supply Planning to help design and scale the supply planning function from the ground up. This position will play a key role in building the processes, operating rhythms, and team culture that define how supply planning works across the business. The role involves turning open-to-buy plans into purchase orders, keeping a global supplier base accountable for minimum order quantities, lead times, and capacity, and setting the performance standards that help product move smoothly through every channel.
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Sourcing and Supply Planning, this role sits at the center of cross-functional coordination. You will work closely with Demand Planning, Logistics, Merchandising, and the wider Supply Planning team to keep inventory flowing efficiently and to make sure supply risks are identified before they become business issues.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will lead a two-person planning team, build core planning structures, manage supply execution, and support inventory and vendor performance decisions. You will also provide regular reporting and executive-level insight on supply planning performance.
Team leadership and function building
- Oversee, coach, and develop two Senior Supply Planners while maintaining high standards for analysis, communication, and execution.
- Establish the team’s operating model, planning methods, and internal workflows, since the function is still being created rather than simply inherited.
- Represent Supply Planning in monthly S&OP meetings by owning receipt forecasts, inbound visibility, and lead time tracking.
Supply execution and purchasing
- Convert open-to-buy plans into purchase orders and ensure orders are placed accurately and on time.
- Handle supplier limitations such as MOQs, lead times, and capacity across a multi-country vendor network.
- Spot supply risks early and coordinate contingency actions, including prioritization and reallocation when constraints appear.
Inventory and open-to-buy management
- Create and execute plans that support service levels, product availability, weeks of stock, inventory turns, and E&O goals.
- Take action to reduce excess and obsolete inventory through better planning and corrective measures.
Vendor management
- Own supplier performance management, including on-time delivery, lead time control, responsiveness, and OTIF monitoring across global vendors.
- Run monthly supplier reviews focused on service levels, forecast exposure, and OTIF, while escalating shortages and delays where needed.
- Assess supplier performance and put frameworks in place that improve accountability and reduce risk.
Analytics and reporting
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on supply planning KPIs, with clear recommendations and corrective actions for leadership.
- Turn detailed supply data into concise, executive-ready updates that are easy for non-technical stakeholders to understand.
Working style and environment
This is a hybrid role based in Toronto, Ontario, at 60 Bloor Street W. The schedule requires three days in the office and two days working remotely each week.
Mejuri values a fast-moving, entrepreneurial mindset and is building an AI-fluent organization. Candidates at any stage of their AI journey are welcome, as long as they bring curiosity, a willingness to learn, and openness to using AI tools as part of the workflow.
Values
The company emphasizes six operating values: RAISE THE BAR, CUSTOMER OBSESSED, EMPOWERED OWNERS, FIND A WAY, DRIVE RESULTS, and TEAM FIRST.
Accommodation and accessibility
Mejuri states that it does not discriminate in hiring or employment conditions on the basis of race, ancestry, colour, place of origin, religion, gender, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, sexual orientation, family status, marital status, or any other protected category under provincial or federal law. Candidates who need accommodation or accessibility support are encouraged to mention it in their application, including requests for accessible formats or help with accessibility-related issues.
Compensation
The base salary range for this role is 110,000 to 125,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Compensation will be assessed based on individual background and experience.
Benefits
Full-time employees are eligible for the company’s benefit package. This includes at least four weeks of vacation, personal days, and three religious or cultural observance days; a hybrid work model for corporate roles; the option to work from another location for one month per year through the Mejuri Passport program, if eligibility criteria are met; medical and dental coverage with mental health support; generous personal and sick leave; bereavement leave with miscarriage and stillbirth support; parental leave top-up of up to 80%; a personalized return-to-work transition and accommodation plan; and a product discount.
