What you will do
- Create and deploy machine learning and deep learning models for antibody sequence analysis and protein modeling.
- Build and support bioinformatics workflows for processing genomic and proteomic datasets.
- Use statistical and AI-based methods to analyze biological data.
- Contribute to antibody discovery work, including structure prediction and ranking of candidate molecules.
- Work LLMs into research processes where they add value.
- Partner with R&D and product teams to turn computational findings into usable applications.
- Tune models using tools such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Prepare documentation and help draft research reports.
- Take on additional duties as needed.
What the role requires
- A master’s degree in biomedical engineering, computer science, bioinformatics, or a closely related discipline.
- Solid understanding of machine learning and statistical modeling.
- Hands-on ability in Python and machine learning libraries/frameworks.
- Prior work with biological datasets is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools, including word processing, email, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Well-organized, self-driven, and collaborative.
- Positive attitude, creativity, and a strong team mindset.
- Capability to work with diverse colleagues and support customers.

Work conditions
This is an on-site full-time role in Rockville, MD. The job may involve regular sitting, walking, speaking, hearing, and use of hands and fingers.
