Logistics Officer

Overview

We are hiring an experienced Logistics Officer to help keep material movement organized and efficient across our operations in Al Ula, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee shipments, deliveries, and day-to-day logistics coordination to keep materials moving without disruption.
• Monitor shipment progress and share timely status updates with relevant stakeholders.
• Handle shipping paperwork with accuracy and ensure documents are completed and processed on time.
• Stay in regular contact with suppliers, carriers, and customers to support on-schedule deliveries.
• Work with suppliers to address and resolve logistics issues as they arise.
• Make sure all shipping activities follow regulations, customs rules, and internal company procedures.
• Accept incoming deliveries, checking quantity, quality, and overall condition.
• Confirm delivery notes and keep documentation properly organized and current.
• Maintain accurate logistics tracking reports and records.
• Contribute ideas and support efforts to improve logistics workflows and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain operations is required.
• Prior work as a Logistics Officer or Logistics Assistant is preferred.
• Good understanding of shipping workflows, logistics procedures, and performance metrics is needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to work well in a team, are essential.
• High attention to detail and a careful approach to accuracy are important for this role.
• Comfort with MS Office and logistics tracking tools is required.
• Experience in the construction sector will be considered an advantage.
