Learning Trainer, IGA3-RDC

Role overview

Amazon’s operations organization is hiring Learning Trainers to support fulfillment center operations and help drive strong results alongside operations leaders and associates. In this position, you may also perform production work when needed, including picking and packing orders, receiving and stowing products, checking inventory accuracy, and loading or unloading trucks. Senior Learning Trainers will additionally provide direction to fellow associates, keep them engaged, and help maintain a safe work environment.

Working environment and physical expectations

• You are expected to follow safety practices in the fulfillment center, including wearing a reflective vest, stretching, and recognizing safe behavior.
• The dress code is casual, provided clothing meets safety standards.
• Noise and temperature conditions can change from day to day even with climate controls; hearing protection is available.
• You may need to work on a secure mezzanine at heights of up to 40 feet or operate powered equipment such as a forklift or cherry picker.
• The role can require lifting up to 49 pounds, standing or walking for 10 to 12 hours, and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Role requirements

You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States. The job requires availability for a 40-hour workweek, plus overtime when needed. You should also be able to handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 49 pounds and remaining on your feet for long shifts. A flexible schedule is required, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Qualifications

Basic qualification includes at least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office products and applications, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. The preferred background is 2 or more years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
