Role summary
The Lead Patient Transporter serves as a shift lead and day-to-day point of support for the patient transport team. The position helps ensure patients are moved across the campus safely, promptly, and in a way that supports efficient patient flow.
Responsibilities
The lead coordinates and supports patient transport staff during a shift, helping maintain safe and timely transfers throughout the campus. The role is centered on keeping movement efficient so patient flow is maximized while standards of safety and service are upheld.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is required. Applicants should have at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting, with two years preferred. CPR/AED or BLS certification through HeartSaver is required upon hire.
