Role Overview

This position supports the Housekeeping & Laundry department in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for handling guest and in-house laundry as well as outside laundry and dry-cleaning needs in an efficient, cost-conscious manner.

Core Duties

  • Run laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and ironers.
  • Load items into machines and use the correct detergents and cleaning products.
  • Separate dried items by category, such as keeping white and coloured fabrics apart.
  • Fold, hang, and store linen and terry items in the proper storage locations.
  • Sort, separate, and fold all laundry items according to quality standards.
  • Prepare the daily production report and hand it over to the supervisor at the end of each day.
  • Remove lint from dryer compartments before operations begin and whenever needed.
  • Keep all assigned machines and equipment clean and functioning properly, and notify the supervisor of any unusual equipment behavior.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the laundry area at all times.
  • Identify torn or stained items and report them accordingly.
