Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site Knitting Merchandiser position in Ludhiana, Punjab. The role sits at the intersection of design, production, and vendor coordination, with responsibility for developing knit loungewear styles that meet the brand’s expectations for comfort, fit, and visual appeal.

What You Will Do

You will manage the end-to-end merchandising workflow for knitted products, from sourcing yarns and fabrics to tracking sampling, approvals, and production progress. The position also involves maintaining accurate product records, supporting costing and margin review, and helping with inventory planning based on demand. You will work closely with the design and sales teams to turn trends and customer input into commercially strong knit collections.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in knitted garment product development and merchandising, including yarn choice, fabric structure, and fit coordination. Experience with loungewear or casualwear is valuable, along with the ability to translate fashion direction and consumer needs into sellable styles. The role also calls for vendor handling, sampling coordination, timeline management, basic costing, and careful quality control of measurements, finishing, and durability. Comfort using Excel or similar tools for tracking orders, inventory, and cost comparisons is important, as is clear communication and teamwork across design, production, and sales functions. A diploma or degree in textiles, fashion, apparel merchandising, or a related discipline is preferred, and prior experience in knitting or garment merchandising is an advantage. Candidates must be willing to work on-site in Ludhiana and handle multiple styles and seasons in a fast-moving environment.
