Job Overview

The Kitchen Helper supports cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen by washing dishes and cookware, keeping floors clean, and maintaining orderly work surfaces and equipment.

Key Duties

• Clean and sanitize dishes, silverware, and glassware manually or using an automatic dishwasher.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays thoroughly.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to maintain a safe workspace.
• Keep kitchen equipment and all surfaces clean and hygienic.
• Place waste in the proper disposal areas.

Requirements

• Ability to remain standing and/or walking throughout the full shift.
• Working knowledge of the correct cleaning chemicals and methods used in the role.
• Capability to move items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to secure and keep any required licenses or certifications.
