Role overview

This position is based in Doha, Qatar and focuses on driving regional growth for the business. The Key Account Manager will identify and develop prospective customers in the assigned territory, expand market presence, and support overall sales and profit performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver the region’s business objectives by sourcing and converting new prospects within the assigned area while strengthening existing business relationships.
  • Lead the marketing team to generate and convert leads and to consistently achieve monthly team targets.
  • Oversee execution across the region and market to meet sales and profit goals, while tracking performance and business outcomes for the territory.
  • Create and implement marketing plans that support regional sales targets.
  • Develop outreach and promotional approaches to win new customers, retain current relationships, understand client needs, and present the company’s product and service portfolio effectively.
  • Take part in commercial discussions for major projects to help ensure the region meets its business goals.
  • Manage the team effectively by coaching, directing, and supporting them in reaching departmental objectives.
  • Handle customer purchase inquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up through the sales cycle.
  • Work to close deals, ensure purchase orders are issued, and confirm that customer-submitted PDCS documents are completed and received.
  • Meet monthly management KPIs related to invoicing targets, collections, and pipeline management.
  • Expand support across departments where needed and provide leadership-level assistance to the team.
  • Carry out any additional duties assigned by the immediate manager or senior management.

Additional requirements
