Role Summary

As a Junior Technician, you will represent the company in customers’ homes and on-site locations, providing inspections, treatments, service documentation, and helpful guidance. You’ll be expected to deliver professional service, communicate clearly, and support customers with practical pest-prevention solutions.

Key Duties

• Check homes inside and outside to locate pest activity, possible access points, and infestations.
• Assess pest concerns and carry out the appropriate treatment methods.
• Prepare service documentation showing the work completed and products applied.
• Respond to customer questions and provide a high standard of service.
• Explain prevention steps and suggest ways to reduce future pest problems.
• Maintain strong customer relationships while representing the company professionally.

Note: The role does not involve ladder work, and the company states that no cockroaches or bed bugs are included in the typical work scope.

Schedule and Work Arrangement

This is a full-time position with an approximate schedule of 40 hours per week, plus potential overtime. The role includes a flexible schedule, tight service routes with short driving distances, no on-call shifts, and outdoor work that keeps you active throughout the day.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.

• Willingness to complete the Structural Exterminator License process with employer support, including study materials, exam preparation, and application assistance.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
• Interest in learning, career growth, and working as part of a team.
• Interest in pest control or developing a skilled trade.

Important Notes

Before working independently with customers in the field, selected candidates must complete the required training and pass the licensing exam.
