Hyde Park Interiors is a premium interior design studio based in Scottsdale, Arizona, focused on crafting spaces that are both visually refined and highly functional. The team works closely with clients to translate ideas into finished environments and is dedicated to delivering a high level of service and strong design outcomes.

Role Summary

The Interior Design Assistant will provide day-to-day support to senior designers on residential high-end projects. This position involves bringing together design knowledge, practical experience, creative thinking, and attention to detail to help move projects from concept through installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead designers in developing schematic design concepts for luxury residential interiors.
• Prepare furniture layouts, plans, and elevation drawings.
• Support material, finish, and product sourcing for projects.
• Create and organize client presentation materials.
• Participate in client meetings and help communicate project details.
• Track budgets and keep project schedules up to date.
• Visit job sites regularly to monitor progress and coordinate design implementation.
• Provide hands-on support during installations and project completion.

Skills and Experience

• At least 1 year of experience assisting or interning in interior design is required.
• A degree in Interior Design is required.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with furniture, finishes, materials, color selection, and specifications is beneficial.
• Understanding of design standards, construction methods, and materials used in luxury residential work is preferred.
• Excellent organizational ability and strong multitasking skills.
• Confident working both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills and excellent follow-through are essential.
• The ideal candidate should be driven, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative.

Hiring Process
