About the Role
This position is for an Inspector, 100% (Inspector 1) on second shift. The role focuses on carrying out both routine and non-routine inspections and evaluations of finished products with varying levels of complexity, ensuring they meet internal standards as well as outside specifications.
Work Schedule
The scheduled shift runs from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow the company’s core beliefs along with all safety and quality guidelines.
- Check case and lid surfaces visually by using established procedures and product knowledge.
- Share scrap and finished-goods counts with the Production Lead or Supervisor.
- Use microscopes to confirm defects and verify that finished products meet visual requirements.
- Carry out rework tasks when needed.
- Apply customer-specific quality criteria while inspecting parts.
- Resolve standard issues using written instructions and choose from approved solution options.
- Support production teams in determining product acceptability.
- Help train newly hired inspectors.
- Make sure any nonconforming material is properly dispositioned before shipment.
- Pack products according to instructions, complete KANBAN tags, and prepare scrap reports while monitoring material movement.
- Handle other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least 1 to 3 years of inspection experience is needed.
- Ability to use a microscope is required.
- Computer terminal operation knowledge is necessary.
- Candidate must complete 40 hours of training and pass a certification exam.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong hand-eye coordination are required.

The compensation package includes base pay, a cash incentive program tied to performance, overtime pay, shift differentials, and call-in pay where applicable.
