Human Resources Specialist

Role summary

We are looking for an HR professional to support a client on a part-time contract basis while contributing practical expertise to the training and improvement of AI systems. The work is remote and can be done from anywhere in the United States.

This opportunity is centered on applying real-world human resources knowledge to help shape how AI models understand HR processes, compliance, communication, and employee lifecycle operations.

Compensation

The hourly payout for this assignment is between $10 and $36.

What you will do

• Refresh and improve HR policies, employee handbooks, and standard document templates so they align with current best practices and legal or regulatory expectations.
• Map out, review, and streamline onboarding steps and employee lifecycle processes to improve efficiency.
• Provide guidance on compliance matters and employee relations situations, and create reference materials that can be used for training.
• Draft and assess employee-facing communications and change management messaging to support effective internal communication.
• Use real HR experience to help evaluate and refine AI-based HR tools and resources.

Who this role is for

This position is intended for an HR specialist with strong hands-on experience in HR policy, compliance, and operations. You should be comfortable working independently in a remote setup, and also collaborating with others when needed. Experience or familiarity with AI tools in the HR space is helpful, along with a willingness to learn and contribute to AI development.
