About the Role
Quick Quack Car Wash is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Assistant to join their team in Rocklin, CA. This role involves performing a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the HR department, with a strong emphasis on maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information. The position offers a broad range of duties and responsibilities critical to departmental efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support HR auditing processes and propose enhancements for improved department efficiency.
- Regularly utilize and update the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and strict confidentiality of all employee data.
- Manage payroll records by processing changes related to insurance, benefits, legal orders, and personnel updates.
- Maintain comprehensive and current human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Uphold the integrity and confidentiality of all HR files and records.
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, company policies, benefits, and code of conduct, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Conduct periodic audits of HR files to ensure all necessary documentation is complete and properly filed.
- Provide essential clerical support to the HR department.
- Assist with payroll operations, including manual check generation, processing, and resolving employee queries or errors.
- Support recruitment efforts, including interviewing and onboarding new hires across various departments.
- Offer administrative assistance to the HR team and contribute to daily HR operations.
- Ensure employee personnel files and HR records are accurate, confidential, and compliant with company policies.
- Verify I-9 documentation and maintain up-to-date records.
- Facilitate new hire orientations and manage associated data entry.
- Undertake other duties as assigned to support the HR function.
