About the role

ElbRivera is a contemporary hotel set directly on the Elbe in a calm and scenic location on the southern edge of Magdeburg. The historic city center can be reached in about 5 minutes by car. The property has 34 comfortable single, double and superior rooms and focuses on delivering excellent service and a welcoming stay for guests visiting Magdeburg.

The hotel also includes several conference rooms for up to 65 people, equipped with modern meeting technology. In addition, the restaurant and sunny terrace provide space for family celebrations and other gatherings.

Guests can enjoy regional and traditional German cuisine in the hotel restaurant and beer garden, prepared by the head chef and the kitchen team in a bright, friendly setting just behind the Elbe dike.

Key responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms thoroughly and maintain a neat standard throughout the hotel.
• Replace and make beds as part of the daily housekeeping routine.
• Clean bathrooms carefully and hygienically.
• Vacuum and mop laminate flooring.
• Support part-time work if required.

Profile and requirements

• Suitable for people entering the field for the first time.
• Initial work experience is an advantage.
• German language skills are required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Flexibility and resilience in a busy hotel environment.
