Role Overview
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper for a long-term care setting in Salem, West Virginia. This position is focused on keeping the facility clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors. The role supports HCSG’s broader goal of improving the everyday experience of the communities it serves.
Retention Bonus
This position includes a total $1,000 retention bonus, paid in stages: $250 after 150 working hours, $250 after 300 working hours, and $500 after 900 working hours.

Key Responsibilities
The housekeeper will be responsible for performing routine cleaning and sanitation work across resident rooms, bathrooms, common spaces, and office areas. The role also includes keeping cleaning records up to date, reporting safety concerns or maintenance issues to a supervisor, and following infection-control and universal precaution procedures. Strong, respectful interaction with residents, coworkers, and guests is also expected, along with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a high school diploma or an equivalent credential. Prior housekeeping experience is helpful but not mandatory. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively, maintain a positive attitude, and work with residents, administration, and HCSG leadership to complete daily tasks. Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements is also necessary.
Physical and Work Requirements
This role requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 50 pounds, and remain on your feet, seated, bending, and walking for extended periods. The job also involves repeated routine tasks, daily use of oral and written instructions, and working around cleaning chemicals and supplies.
