Job duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms and public spaces according to company standards
- Replace linens, bedding, and towels as needed
- Follow all hotel safety and security procedures
- Stay familiar with the property, staff, services, operating hours, and nearby places such as shops and restaurants
- Restock rooms with essentials like soap, tissues, and drinking glasses
- Identify and report items left behind by guests by using lost-and-found procedures
- Take on additional tasks when assigned
Education and experience
- High School Diploma or GED is required
Skills and abilities
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Strong teamwork mindset
- Focus on delivering a high guest experience
- Working knowledge of housekeeping and cleanliness standards
Hiring process and employment notes
The selection process may include a phone interview, one or more manager interviews, a drug screen, background verification, reference checks, and a possible employment assessment. The role is tipped eligible. Final compensation and benefit specifics will be shared during the interview process. Compensation
The listed pay range for this position is $16 to $17 per hour.
