About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Bateman House Care Home, a luxury facility in Uttoxeter, England. As part of the Country Court Family, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene for our residents. Bateman House offers a warm, home-like atmosphere with 76 ensuite bedrooms, providing person-centred residential and specialist dementia care. We are a family-run business committed to providing exceptional care and creating extraordinary living environments.

Responsibilities

Ensure the immaculate cleanliness and hygiene of residents' rooms and personal clothing.
Thoroughly clean all surfaces, leaving no area unchecked.
Wash, press, and fold residents' personal clothing and bedding to the highest standards.
Maintain the overall tidiness and presentation of the care home.
Contribute to creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for residents and their families.

Requirements

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards.
A friendly and caring attitude.
Ability to engage effectively with residents and their families.
Proactive, passionate, and ambitious approach to work.
Previous experience as a housekeeper or laundry assistant is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge or understanding of the care sector is beneficial.
