Role overview
Merya Hotels is looking for a Hotel Receptionist to join the front office team in Taif, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Shafa, Taif, within the hotel operations and front desk function. The position is suited to someone with intermediate experience, typically 1 to 3 years, and the starting salary is SAR 4,000.

Responsibilities
- Welcome guests on arrival and help create a strong first impression.
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Respond to guest questions, requests, and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, manage reservations, and coordinate with other departments.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and payments.
- Keep the reception area clean, orderly, and guest-friendly.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to front office operations.
- Work with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
Requirements
- A diploma is required; a diploma in hospitality is preferred.
- Prior experience in a receptionist or front office role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks calmly and efficiently.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional appearance with a friendly and cooperative attitude.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.
- Strong organizational ability and close attention to detail.
