About the role

Bending Spoons is focused on building a long-lasting, high-performing company that serves a large customer base, helps people in the team reach their full potential, and operates with exceptional efficiency, effectiveness, and ethical standards. The company acquires and improves digital businesses for the long term, rather than to flip them, and typically makes deep changes aimed at accelerating innovation, improving the customer experience, and strengthening business results. Teams are intentionally small, talent-dense, and operate with startup-like urgency while AI is woven into everyday work so that human judgment and machine intelligence strengthen each other.

This position is designed for someone who is talented, ambitious, collaborative, and eager to learn fast, create meaningful impact, and progress quickly in their career.

What you'll do

  • Develop a strong understanding of the product, the underlying business model, and the main growth drivers.
  • Use AI tools, automation, and advanced analytics to examine successful campaigns, spot patterns in user and product data, and turn findings into practical insights.
  • Convert data, experiment outcomes, competitor research, and AI-assisted exploration into testable ideas that can improve growth and monetization.
  • Plan and execute structured experiments with real users, working closely with designers, engineers, and analysts to move fast and refine based on results.
  • Launch effective ideas at scale and apply what each experiment teaches to shape the next round of testing and discovery.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving ability, with a first-principles mindset and a habit of focusing on what truly matters.
  • High drive, ambition, ownership, and persistence, plus a consistently high personal standard for quality.
  • A collaborative attitude, willingness to support the best idea, transparency, reliability, and a readiness to contribute wherever needed.
  • Excellent command of English in reading, writing, and speaking.

What you'll get

  • The chance to work with highly capable, entrepreneurial teams in small, autonomous groups focused on results.
  • Rapid growth opportunities, with the possibility of taking on major responsibilities early and working on high-value projects.
  • Competitive compensation and access to company equity; pay varies by location and experience, with typical ranges of £85,797 for less experienced candidates in London and €66,065 elsewhere in Europe, and £112,189 to £250,512 in London or €107,837 to €188,848 elsewhere in Europe for candidates with substantial relevant experience. Exceptional candidates may be offered more.
  • If offered a permanent contract, part of the compensation may be taken in company equity at a discounted price.
  • A potential 50% tax reduction if relocating to Italy.
  • Flexible working hours, remote work, unlimited learning and training support, premium health insurance, a strong relocation package, generous parental support, and an annual retreat in a beautiful location.

Contract and working arrangement

This is a permanent or fixed-term opportunity that can be full-time or part-time.

The role can be based in Milan, London, Madrid, or Warsaw, and may also be performed fully remotely from eligible countries.

Selection process

The hiring process focuses on verified evidence of excellence, regardless of seniority. Every applicant is assessed through the same process, and there are no special shortcuts based on background.

Candidates are encouraged not to rule themselves out simply because they have limited experience or do not consider their CV perfect.

Applications are accepted only through the company careers page. Candidates who move forward may be asked to complete one or more demanding tests, which can involve unfamiliar problems and may take several hours.

The company keeps its hiring bar high and may leave the role open for a long time or repost it if the right candidate has not yet been found.

Reasonable accommodations are available for applicants with disabilities.

Before you apply

If you have applied before and were not hired, you are advised to wait at least one year before applying again.

This is a demanding workplace with very high expectations and a strong commitment level, but it also offers substantial learning, achievement, and career growth.

During the first few months, you should expect to spend most days in the Milan office to ramp up quickly and build strong working relationships, even if your long-term location is elsewhere. Travel and accommodation support will be provided for this initial period. After that, you may work from an office or remotely from approved countries, depending on the final agreement.
