Role overview
This part-time remote opportunity is for a Surveying & GIS specialist who can support a visual document understanding benchmark project. The work centers on creating well-defined evaluation tasks, reviewing AI outputs, and helping build a dataset used to measure model performance in a technical domain.
Compensation
The pay for this role is $50 per hour.
Work arrangement
This is a remote position with an expected commitment of about 15 to 20 hours each week.
Key responsibilities
- Develop advanced, grounded tasks that have a clear reference answer and an objective scoring rubric.
- Assess AI models on visual document interpretation and instruction-following within the Surveying & GIS field.
- Help expand and refine a benchmark dataset used to evaluate model quality.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Surveying & GIS.
- Ability to create complex, evidence-based tasks with unambiguous answers and measurable grading criteria.
- Prior experience evaluating visual document understanding or instruction-following in a specialized technical setting.
