Role Overview

Transvera is hiring a Freight Broker focused on US logistics operations. The role involves developing freight brokerage business, managing shipper and carrier relationships, and supporting the movement of shipments through effective coordination and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and qualify leads for freight brokerage opportunities.
• Develop strong working relationships with shippers and clients and maintain them over time.
• Negotiate freight pricing and secure transportation assignments.
• Spot opportunities for new business and help widen the customer base.
• Work closely with carriers and internal operations teams to keep shipments moving smoothly.
• Meet monthly sales and revenue goals.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of client interactions and sales activity.

Requirements

• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• 1 to 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Prior exposure to freight brokerage, logistics sales, or the transportation sector is preferred.
• Good knowledge of the US trucking and logistics market.
• Comfortable working in a goal-oriented and target-driven setting.
• Hands-on experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Self-driven with a focus on outcomes and performance.
