Fintech Specialist

Role overview

N1 Limited is looking for a Fintech Specialist to support the operational side of a business where conventional financial services intersect with digital assets. The role focuses on payments, client onboarding, reconciliations, and partner integrations, with close coordination across operations, compliance, and product teams to ensure processes run accurately and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing workflows and help enhance the movement of information and transactions between banks, payment partners, and internal platforms.
• Assist operations and compliance teams with KYC and AML-related onboarding activities.
• Contribute to scoping requirements for system and partner integrations, including APIs, file-based exchanges, and reporting outputs.
• Monitor payment and settlement issues, coordinating with external vendors to help resolve them.
• Perform reconciliations and identify exceptions that need further review.
• Prepare internal updates and reports covering transaction volumes, processing delays, and outstanding items.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in fintech, banking operations, payments, or brokerage operations.
• Working knowledge of KYC, settlement processes, and reconciliation fundamentals.
• Strong attention to detail and confidence using spreadsheets and ticketing systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly in written English.
• A methodical working style with good documentation habits and sound judgment on when to escalate issues.

Nice-to-have experience

• Familiarity with digital asset custody, withdrawals, or exchange operations.
• Basic SQL knowledge or hands-on use of internal dashboards.

Compensation

The annual salary range is NZ$130,000 to NZ$170,000, based on experience and location. Final details will be discussed during the interview process.
