Finance Specialist

Role overview

This is a contractual remote finance role for a finance expert who can work between 10 and 40 hours per week. The compensation for the assignment is $30 to $65 per hour.

What you will do

• Review financial information and turn it into practical insights and recommendations that support business decisions.
• Manage planning activities such as budgeting and forecasting, with an emphasis on accuracy and alignment to company objectives.
• Build and share clear financial reports and summaries for stakeholders.
• Work with teams across functions to improve processes and make operations more efficient.
• Track market movements, industry updates, and regulatory changes that may affect financial outcomes.
• Create and apply internal controls that protect assets and help use resources effectively.

What we are looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and strategy work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex financial ideas.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and close attention to detail.
• Advanced capability in financial modeling and standard finance software tools.
