Role overview
PlayOn Sports is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and reliable Executive Assistant to support several members of the C-suite. In this position, you will help protect executive time and attention by keeping leaders prepared, focused, and positioned to spend their energy on the highest-priority work. You will work closely with the Executive Assistant to the CEO, handling complex scheduling, travel coordination, communication management, and anticipation of needs while partnering across teams and with outside stakeholders. Success in this role requires strong judgment, a high level of discretion, and confidence in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities
- Manage sophisticated calendars across several time zones while balancing strategic priorities, leadership needs, and outside commitments.
- Protect executive focus by helping prioritize requests, guarding time for high-value work, and communicating changes tactfully.
- Prepare leaders for meetings with agendas, background information, talking points, and follow-up actions so time is used effectively.
- Coordinate meetings, offsites, board-related activities, travel, and event logistics with internal and external partners.
- Serve as a primary liaison among executives, senior leaders, board members, and external stakeholders.
- Track action items, commitments, travel plans, and expense reports to ensure accountability and timely completion.
- Identify potential issues early, surface risks, and resolve problems before they grow.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with exceptional professionalism.
- Support strategic initiatives and special projects while adapting quickly to changing priorities.

Candidate profile
- Proven experience demonstrating sound judgment, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
- At least 5 years of Executive Assistant experience in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment, including direct support for C-suite leaders and interaction with other executives.
- Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle competing priorities comfortably.
- A proactive, action-oriented approach that anticipates needs instead of waiting for instructions.
- Comfort with ambiguity and evolving priorities.
- Strong strategic communication skills with the ability to be direct while remaining empathetic.
- Confidence in asking clarifying questions and defending executive focus.
