Role overview
This full-time skilled maintenance electrician role sits within the Stadium Systems department and reports to the Project Director, MEP & Construction. The position supports the building electrical distribution system along with a wide range of communication and low-voltage systems used across the facility.
Work hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. The pay range for this role is $37.75 to $51.29 per hour.
What you will do
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on building distribution equipment, including single-phase systems, low-voltage systems, lighting, single- and three-phase equipment, and high-voltage substation equipment, while also completing preventive maintenance.
- Service and maintain concession stand equipment, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive upkeep.
- Prepare and test home and visiting team headset equipment before each home game, and guide support staff on the field during games.
- Repair and maintain fire alarm systems, security camera devices, and related infrastructure, including scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Install, test, and support CATV subscriber locations and cable modem services, and help connect television, audio, and wireless networking equipment.
- Install, test, and maintain special circuit offerings, including fiber-related circuits.
- Provide assistance to other engineering teams whenever needed by Stadium Systems management.
- Handle other assigned duties related to the role.

Requirements
- A Journeyman or Master Electrician license is required.
- At least 5 years of experience working as a commercial or industrial electrician is preferred.
- Applicants should have strong troubleshooting ability and a solid understanding of electrical systems.
- Experience with backup power, emergency systems, lighting controls, OSHA compliance, and fire alarm systems is expected.
- Knowledge of low-voltage and audio-visual systems is needed.
- Ability to review electrical drawings, plans, and submittals is required.
- Must be comfortable operating trade-related equipment.
- A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate degree is preferred.
- Journeyman-level experience is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in electrical installation, repair, and maintenance is expected.
- Must arrive on time daily and be available for extra hours when required, especially during event weeks.
- Must follow safety policies and procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and incident reporting.
- Strong customer service standards for both internal and external stakeholders are expected.
- Ability to judge the quality, accuracy, and completeness of assigned work is required.
- Must work well in a team and also remain effective and professional while working independently.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
- Background screening is mandatory.
- Acceptance into SEIU Local #1 Union is required for this position.
- The role includes significant overtime potential based on seniority, and all tools are supplied by the company at no cost to the employee.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, extreme cold, and inclement weather.
- This role is also part of the snow removal support system and may be called in for emergency repairs.
Working conditions
The role can involve long and irregular hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on events.
Physical work may include extended manual labor, frequent ladder use, repeated bending and lifting, repetitive arm movements, pushing and pulling, reaching, sitting or standing, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, long-distance walking, and standing for extended periods.
The job may require lifting or moving up to 75 lbs, sometimes above shoulder height.
