Role overview
Müller’s Solutions is hiring a Data Architect in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The position focuses on building and improving enterprise data architecture so it supports business priorities, strengthens data management, and enables analytics work across the organization. You will partner with teams from different functions to shape practical data solutions that improve how the business operates.
What you will do
- Create, implement, and oversee end-to-end data architecture solutions that serve organizational goals.
- Build and update data models, database structures, and data flow diagrams.
- Work with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand data needs and turn them into technical architecture requirements.
- Set data governance standards and make sure they are followed across teams.
- Review data quality, identify issues, and put cleansing and accuracy improvements in place.
- Manage data integration across multiple systems so information moves smoothly and reliably.
- Partner with IT teams to improve database performance and storage efficiency.
- Assess emerging tools and technologies and recommend improvements to the data architecture stack.
- Support and coach junior data team members.
- Keep current with trends and new developments in data architecture and data management.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- Previous work experience in a Data Architect role or a comparable position.
- Strong hands-on ability in data modeling and database design.
- Practical experience with ETL workflows and data integration tools.
- Working knowledge of data governance frameworks and recommended practices.
- Good command of SQL and familiarity with database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
- Understanding of data protection and security principles.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort working in a collaborative, team-based setting.
