About the Company

Entain is reshaping the global racing, sports, and wagering space with a strong focus on creating memorable customer experiences and challenging conventional limits. As part of a FTSE 50 organisation with close to 30,000 people across more than 30 countries in Europe, the USA, Australia, and New Zealand, Entain ANZ supports well-known brands including TAB, Trackside, and Ladbrokes. Customer needs sit at the centre of the business, while the Finance function plays a key role in enabling commercial choices that support performance, long-term growth, and excellent customer experiences.

Role Overview

Entain is seeking a Data Analyst who goes beyond producing reports and takes time to understand the real business questions behind the numbers. This position is focused on turning complex datasets into practical insights that help teams make better decisions.

You will create and deliver dashboards, develop reliable data models, and work closely with stakeholders across several teams to help them get maximum value from data.

This opportunity suits someone who enjoys working with data, solving difficult problems, and contributing in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, design, and release high-quality dashboards, reports, and datasets in Power BI.
  • Convert business needs into data solutions that are useful, clear, and easy to work with.
  • Analyse data to identify patterns, opportunities, and actions the business can take.
  • Develop and support efficient data models and ETL workflows.
  • Work with teams across Marketing, Finance, Risk, Product, and Customer functions.
  • Prepare clear documentation and share findings in a way that works for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, modelling, and deployment.
  • Good SQL ability for extracting and transforming data.
  • Experience with data warehousing and cloud platforms such as Snowflake or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and close attention to detail.
  • Ability to collect requirements and turn them into workable solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas simply.
  • Exposure to Excel, SSRS, DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, or ALM Toolkit is preferred.

Working Environment

At Entain, the role offers more than just employment; it is an opportunity to grow, collaborate, and contribute meaningfully. The company values individuality, encourages teamwork, and supports bold ideas that make an impact. You will help shape some of the best-known brands in Australia and New Zealand while continuing to develop your own skills within an ambitious and supportive team.

Perks and Benefits

  • Hybrid and flexible working arrangement to help balance personal and professional life.
  • Recognition and rewards, including celebration of wins and retailer discounts.
  • Wellbeing support focused on health and happiness.
  • Free breakfast, snacks, and an onsite barista.
  • Office amenities such as a pool table, live sports, and social activities.
