Role Overview
USFS is looking for a Data Analyst to join a team serving federal clients. In this position, you will support data analysis, produce reports, and provide operational assistance as requested by the client. The work will involve turning data into meaningful insights and visual outputs, especially through Tableau and Power BI, to help inform decisions.
The organization has several open positions, from junior-level through senior-level data analyst roles.
Security and Eligibility

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver analytical support by building dashboards and reports in Tableau or Power BI.
- Provide strategic analysis, metrics, and modeling support to U.S. Government agencies.
- Assist with cost modeling and cost-benefit evaluations for assigned initiatives.
- Support the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process by supplying data-driven input.
- Use data analysis to identify opportunities for improving business processes.
- Contribute analytical support for Interactive Customer Evaluation (ICE) activities.
- Handle records-related data, including FOIA declassification work and records scheduling.
- Prepare monthly training reports for both military and civilian supervisory training programs.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical field is strongly preferred.
- Between 3 and 8 years of relevant experience in data analytics or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau and/or Power BI for visualization and dashboard development.
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data.
- Python or another programming language is considered an added advantage.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel for analysis and modeling tasks.
- Clear communication skills to explain complex findings effectively.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work well in a team and coordinate across departments.
