Role summary
This full-time customer service position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a solid grasp of customer service, holds a full New Zealand driver licence, and has an interest in automotive parts. The role runs Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with alternate Saturday mornings.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting trade customers in person at the counter and by phone
- Guiding customers toward the most suitable vehicle parts and product solutions
- Accurately picking, packing, and processing customer orders
- Identifying chances to upsell or suggest related items
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with regular customers
What you need to bring
- Previous customer service experience, with automotive or trade industry exposure being an advantage
- Strong computer literacy, with basic Excel knowledge considered helpful
- A real interest in cars or vehicle parts
- Clear communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
- The ability to stay accurate and composed in a busy, fast-moving environment
- A team-oriented mindset and willingness to support others
