Role overview
This opportunity is with a major semiconductor company looking to expand its RISC-V CPU verification team in Cork, County Cork, Ireland. The role is focused on validating CPU designs as part of a global engineering organization.
What you will do
- Support CPU verification activities for RISC-V-based designs.
- Work on verification tasks across CPU architecture and micro-architecture layers.
- Use hardware design and coding skills to help ensure design correctness.
- Apply scripting and programming tools to automate and strengthen verification workflows.
What the employer is looking for
- A degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong understanding of CPU architecture and micro-architecture concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Verilog, C, C++, and RTL.
- Working knowledge of scripting in Perl or Python.
