Role Overview
JPMorganChase is hiring a Corporate Strategy Analyst to join its Strategy Group in Mumbai. The role sits in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment and supports senior leadership with strategic planning and business decision-making. You will work on initiatives that shape the firm’s direction, including international expansion, new product and market planning, operational improvements, technology and operations strategy, acquisitions and divestitures, strategic investments, and cross-business initiatives.
What You Will Work On
You will partner with business teams and project managers on strategic planning, business analysis, and internal consulting assignments across the organization. The position offers exposure to a wide range of corporate priorities and requires a structured approach to solving complex business problems.
Responsibilities
The role involves research, analysis, presentation building, and recommendation development for senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to projects and initiatives that address priority issues identified by operating committee members and senior leaders across corporate functions.
- Collect, organize, analyze, and summarize data, then present findings clearly.
- Build financial models and perform quantitative analysis.
- Translate analysis into practical insights, identify key issues, and support recommendations.
- Create and tailor strategy presentations for different leadership audiences.
- Track market and industry developments and share useful reports and analysis with the wider team and senior executives.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should be able to frame business problems clearly, carry out analysis independently, and communicate findings with precision.
- Strong ability to break down problem statements and determine the right analytical approach.
- Solid financial modelling capability.
- Familiarity with data sources, databases, and research tools.
- Ability to create clear, logical presentations and communicate key messages effectively.
- Excellent academic performance.
- Highly proactive, well organized, and detail-oriented.
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
