Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position in Coimbatore for a Content Strategist. The selected person will design and implement content plans across digital platforms to help clients achieve business objectives, strengthen brand identity, and support marketing initiatives. The role involves researching audiences and competitors, shaping content themes and editorial calendars, coordinating with designers and marketing professionals, and guiding the production and distribution of website and social media content. You will also track performance, improve existing content, maintain brand consistency, and share insights and recommendations with both internal stakeholders and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Build content strategies that align with client goals and marketing priorities.
- Study target audiences and competitors to inform content direction.
- Define themes, messaging, and publishing calendars for digital content.
- Work closely with designers and marketing teams to deliver cohesive campaigns.
- Oversee the creation, organization, and distribution of web and social content.
- Monitor content performance and use analytics to guide improvements.
- Refresh and optimize existing content to improve relevance and effectiveness.
- Ensure all content follows brand tone, style, and quality standards.
- Prepare clear recommendations and updates for clients and internal teams.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in content strategy and content planning with a strong focus on business-aligned, data-led execution.
- Background in managing content across websites and digital platforms, including updates and optimization.
- Strong writing skills for web and digital formats, with the ability to adjust voice and style for different audiences.
- Ability to evaluate content results through analytics and turn findings into practical improvements.
- Good communication, teamwork, and stakeholder handling skills in a fast-moving agency or startup setting.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Working knowledge of SEO, social media, and core digital marketing concepts is an advantage.
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
