Role overview
A leading advisory consultancy is supporting large infrastructure programmes across energy, utilities, transport, housing, and healthcare. The team is hiring Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers with backgrounds in engineering or construction to help deliver projects and work closely with clients.
What you'll do
- Oversee capital projects and programmes so they are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality.
- Contribute to project initiation, mobilisation, delivery planning, and operating model design.
- Track project controls such as timelines, risks, budgets, and status reporting.
- Offer practical analysis and recommendations to address client issues.
- Prepare polished reports, documents, and presentation materials.
- Take ownership of small workstreams or engagements when needed.
- Engage clearly and professionally with clients and other stakeholders at every level.
- Help develop the team through mentoring and continuous improvement activities.
Candidate requirements
- Applicants must already have the right to work in Ireland, as sponsorship is not available.
- A degree in Engineering, Construction, or a closely related field is required.
- Assistant Project Manager applicants should have 3 to 6 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Coordinator.
- Project or Programme Manager applicants should bring 6 to 20 years of experience delivering major capital projects.
- Experience in consulting or other client-facing environments is preferred.
- Knowledge across project management, design, procurement, and contract management is important.
- Strong abilities in stakeholder management, governance, and change management are needed.
- Professional certifications such as PRINCE2 or PMP would be an advantage.
